JOB VACANCY/OPPORTUNITY
A reputable Liberian Bank, with steady growths in the country, has an opening for qualified, trail blazing,
competent and experienced banker with impeccable integrity to join its management team in the
following capacity:
Position Title: General Manager (Strategy, Growth and Profitability)
This position will require the individual to:
• Assume responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Bank Operations
and identify ways to maximize revenue and oversee revenue generation
• Ensure bank’s policies, procedures and all regulations are followed by each department
• Analyze financial reports and with Finance to prepare and implement annual budget
• Lead Human Resource in attracting, motivating, training and retaining staff
• Formulate and implement the Bank’s strategic plan and guide its direction
• Take the lead on new business opportunities, marketing and product development initiatives
• Work under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors to ensure the
Bank’s activities operate in a safe and sound manner in the best interest of shareholders, the
Board of Directors, customers, employees, and the general public
• Attend Board meetings and offer broad executive and operational assistance to the Chief
Executive Officer
EDUCATION:
• Must have an MBA in Finance or Business Administration from a recognized University
• A minimum of 7 years experience in various bank management roles including financial
management, business risk management and a general knowledge of Information Technology
management
• Financial reporting capabilities and a good understanding of budgeting and cash flow
management and good working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Must have strong human capital management abilities
