Job Description

A reputable retail store based in Accra is looking for a friendly salesperson to assist customers in their store. The salesperson will be responsible for greeting customers and helping them find items in the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers.
• Help customers find items in the store.
• Check for stock at other branches or order requested stock for customers.
• Provide customers with information about items.
• Elevate complaints to management.
• Keep track of inventory.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge
• Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
• Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with the product.
• Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales
• Discovers how to market products to new users
• Uses the Internet to push products to a given target market.
• Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies and how to make them work.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion
• Highly motivated, determined, and target driven
• Expert in time management and personal organization
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience
