The company develops the SAAS-solution assessmentQ, which is the most versatile digital exam and exercise platform in the world. assessmentQ is used daily by thousands of users all around the world in a variety of sectors: healthcare, education, exam centers, certifying bodies, banking, insurance, publishers…

To support their growth, the company is setting up a development hub in Accra (Ghana). They are looking for a Lead Developer to join their new software development team in Accra.

Working as a Lead Developer

  • You are the main point of contact for the development team in Accra. All communication with colleagues from Belgium will go through you.
  • You plan and manage the work of the team using agile techniques, ensuring the delivery of high-quality features.
  • You facilitate regular team meetings such as stand-ups, retrospectives and demos.
  • You write, test & debug code on cloud-based e-assessment platform.
  • You work with the latest development frameworks and technologies such as .NET Framework (C#), Angular, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, MongoDb, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch and many more.
  • You write technical documentation, do technical analyses, and perform code reviews on the code of your team members.
  • You work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of Test Engineers, Developers, Researchers and Product Owners located in Accra (Ghana), Ghent (Belgium) and Izegem (Belgium).
Professional skills we’re looking for

  • You have a relevant Bachelor or master’s degree (e.g., ICT, Computer Sciences, Computer applications).
  • You have experience leading software development teams, preferably in a remote/international context.
  • You have knowledge of HTML, (S)CSS, .NET (C#), SQL, TypeScript & Angular.
  • You are fluent in English.
